  1. \t\tA prescri\u00e7\u00e3o extintiva dirige-se fundamentalmente \u00e0 realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de objectivos de conveni\u00eancia ou oportunidade e parte, tamb\u00e9m, da pondera\u00e7\u00e3o de uma in\u00e9rcia negligente do titular do direito em exercit\u00e1-lo.<\/li>\n
  2. \t\tPara efeitos do disposto no art.\u00ba 327\u00ba do C\u00f3digo Civil, pode n\u00e3o ser imput\u00e1vel a neglig\u00eancia do titular do direito o facto de se ter proposto a ac\u00e7\u00e3o num tribunal incompetente, por exemplo, \u201cpor ser dif\u00edcil a interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o da lei sobre a compet\u00eancia\u201d ou ante as vicissitudes ligadas \u00e0 conforma\u00e7\u00e3o e ao exercitar do direito a determinada pretens\u00e3o indemnizat\u00f3ria.<\/li>\n
  3. \t\tO alargamento do prazo de prescri\u00e7\u00e3o e a sua interrup\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 opon\u00edvel aos respons\u00e1veis meramente civis, como as seguradoras.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
