  1. Dispunha o art.º 124º, n.º 1, al. b), do C. Penal de 1982, na sua vers\u00e3o origin\u00e1ria, que “a prescri\u00e7\u00e3o da pena interrompe-se … com a pr\u00e1tica, pela autoridade competente, dos actos destinados a faz\u00ea-la executar, se a execu\u00e7\u00e3o se tornar imposs\u00edvel por o condenado se encontrar em local donde n\u00e3o possa ser extraditado ou onde n\u00e3o posa ser alcan\u00e7ado.”<\/li>\n
  2. A verifica\u00e7\u00e3o dessas circunst\u00e2ncias que condicionam o efeito interruptivo dos actos destinados a executar a pena sup\u00f5em que o paradeiro do arguido seja conhecido.Apenas sendo conhecido o paradeiro do arguido se pode verificar a impossibilidade da sua extradi\u00e7\u00e3o ou de ser alcan\u00e7ado.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
