\tIniciou fun\u00e7\u00f5es como Juiz de Direito de 3\u00aa Classe em 2\/4\/1952 na Comarca de S. Jo\u00e3o da Pesqueira. Passou pelas Comarcas de Figueir\u00f3 dos Vinhos e da Covilh\u00e3. Promovido a Juiz de 2\u00aa Classe em 9\/6\/1956 e colocado na Comarca de Tomar. Em 1959 \u00e9 promovido a Juiz de 1\u00aa Classe e colocado no 2\u00ba Ju\u00edzo da Comarca de Leiria. Em 14\/1\/1966 \u00e9 transferido para o 3\u00ba Ju\u00edzo da Comarca de Coimbra. Em 1968 foi nomeado em Comiss\u00e3o de Servi\u00e7o como Corregedor Presidente do C\u00edrculo Judicial de Coimbra. Toma posse em 1\/10\/1973 como Juiz Desembargador do Tribunal da Rela\u00e7\u00e3o de Coimbra. Em 1975 foi nomeado pelo Minist\u00e9rio da Educa\u00e7\u00e3o e Cultura como Sindicante ao funcionamento do Laborat\u00f3rio e Instituto da Faculdade de Medicina de Coimbra. Em 1979 foi eleito Presidente do Tribunal da Rela\u00e7\u00e3o de Coimbra tendo tomado posse em 5\/3\/1979. Nomeado Juiz Conselheiro do Supremo Tribunal de Justi\u00e7a em 4\/3\/1980. <\/span><\/div>\n
